krabi sunset sail
The highlight of our time in Krabi was a sunset boat cruise. We rented a private longtail boat from the Phulay Bay pier and stopped at 3 different islands, all unique in their own way.
We started off with a stop at Hong Island. This island embodied everything I envisioned when I thought Thailand: limestone cliffs, blue green water, powdery sand.
We swam and hung outhere for about 45 minutes before heading to Ko Lao La Ding, also known as Paradise Island. It was so nice to enjoy a glass of white wine – with an island all to ourselves! Felt like an episode of the Bachelor (married edition).
Our last stop was Ko Si Boya island, where we ate our picnic and watched the sunset.
The coolest part was the boat ride back to the hotel. The sun had set, so riding past all of the limestone cliffs with the purple skies was breathtaking.
